This encompasses, 4K and radius screens, expect to see more!

4K displays, these are in the early stage, as the price is the killer! The main reason these are used is that they are extremely better quality images, remember when we first got HD images and you saw the massive differences to what we where used to? Well 4K is even better! The down side is that the viewing distance is reduced, let me explain. You would see 4K up to 5 feet away, the further away you got the less sharp the image, now compare this currently to the same 60” display in HD you can see the image clearly at 10 feet.

Radius displays are just round the corner, pardon the pun! This engages with the viewer and they are drawn into the ad!

Transparent screens, we have seen these used with an excellent example at travel agents marketing exotic locations from their window. These provide exotic images of warmth and is perfect during winter months, to get people in store to book their summer holiday.

Mobile Connectivity.

This calls on NFC, (Near Field Communication), this is a digital sign with a built in Bluetooth player that sends promotions for the particular advert the viewer has seen. With this technology being compatible with iPhones it is a major set back.

This is very similar to Proximity Marketing and is perfect in a shopping Mall setting, as local outlets can promote their sale products through Bluetooth or Ibeacon technology.
